I have read all of the books so far in the series and I think they are outstanding. Christine Kersey is a gifted writer and really has you feeling for the people in the story. I read the first book for free and I was sucked in - I had to get every other book in the series and I am looking forward to the next book.The books grip my imagination. I love these kinds of books with parallel worlds and time travel. Very few though come up to this standard. And Morgan Campbell is a great role model who has the courage of her convictions and, even though she wavers and is tempted to back down, she generally does the right thing.

Even though I felt this story was a little slower than the original Parallel Trilogy, it was still a really great story. I would recommend this to anyone who has read the first three books and maybe felt like a few things were left unanswered about what would happen with Morgan and Billy.
I enjoyed this provocative series,and can see myself using it in book club and/or the classroom. The question of government control is as timely as any subject could be.
After is a great conclusion to the Parallel Trilogy. It was creepy that Morgan's world was headed in the same direction that Billy's world had taken. I really like how the story continued in a lesser capacity and that things got resolved for the most part.
I can. Not wait to read the last book this is a good series for a teenager to read . I highly recommend this book to any teenager and older . I like it also because it is a series and it really does not save you hanging but we will see how the last book ends I. This Darrell series

While I applaud Christine's efforts to tell an interesting clean story, I keep being so disappointed. Each book I have read starts out so promising with so much potential but just never goes anywhere. They aren't horrible books but it's frustrating because they always seem to fall flat. There is a serious shortage of decent reading material these days so I will probably try her next book when it comes out and hope for the best.
You may think you've completed all you need to after finishing the three "Parallel Trilogy" books. Don't! "After" is the real conclusion to what happens to Morgan and Billy. Will Morgan's life run smoothly now that she's back in her world? What will happen when her school decides to institute monthly weigh-ins in an effort to create healthier students? Will Billy stay in her world? Where will he live - is there a family for him at last? And how will they ever explain their "parallel world" and expect anyone to believe them?
I'm not telling! Read this thoroughly enjoying book to find out!
This sequel to the Parallel trilogy is an absolutely gripping yarn. As Morgan is back in our world the story is more overtly political than it was in the parallel universe, though I think the message here is one that most people would agree with (the government shouldn't watch everyone's weight and force people to eat right). You can make your own judgment about whether we are already on a slippery slope to that nightmare scenario!
Ms. Kersey has also created some very engaging characters, and I'm sure that many readers, young and old, would identify with Morgan and Billy, two regular teenagers who just want the freedom to be themselves and find happiness in life.
